Rules Of Teacher

I learned a lot from my mentor miss Jenny.  In each activity she has a rule for students. The best thing I liked when she use the happy and sad faces she called “ traffic light system “. Also she gives students stickers if they are in star or green. This is affecting the students in positive way. When some students get to yellow they try to be quite. It’s surprised the students reaction when they get in to yellow they try to do more work to move in the green without the teacher telling them they do it by them self. Also it makes me feel pleased for them. When behaviors improves to move them to green. That rule make the learners discipline in the class. In this picture I will explain what the rule mean.

Star: excellent 2 stickers that mean students worked hard.

Green: Great (normal day) 1 sticker

Yellow: Warning (no sticker)

Red: principal or talk to Arabic admin.

Week Of The "Community Helpers" And The "Career"

Career Week 

In Thursday 5 of Nov it was the last day of the “ Career”.In that week students choice what they want in the future and wear a suit. Here are some images of the students explain what I mean.

 Ahmed is Construction and Police Officer.

Theyab is an Army and Fire Fighter.

Marwa is a Nurse.

       

And also"Community Helpers" in the morning assembly the students honored and thanked cleaners and give them gifts. The cleaners were very happy.

First Day At School " Teaching Practice "

In this morning I went to Al Shoaa Kindergarten. It is in Shaabiyat Al Maqam and this is school telephone:  +971 3 768 1240. I like the design of the school and the teachers who work there. Ateeqa Alnuaimi the manager of the school. She is welcome me and  she gave me cup of tea and she introduced me to other staff. She is very helpful and I felt comfortable.I think I met all the school administration also the teachers and I met the teacher who is the new in the country.I met graduate student from AAWC her name is Al Yazia Al Ghafli now she is a teacher in the school. She help me a lot and she is excited for me. She gave me some advice. For today I had two materials Arabic and English. My mentor teacher her name is Jenny Nelson I had good time with her and her two classroom. I learn how to deal with students and the organization in the class.
I felt a little nervous when the Irtiqaa “ispectors” was in the class and write the notes about the two teachers and how they did in the class. However it was a nice day for me because I met new people and I met my new young friends because that I feel happy.

Reason Why I'm Worried From Teaching Practice

I'm worried about many thing in this teaching practice because I will meet new people and I'll be embarrassed for the first time. Also I’ll be alone. I will be responsibility of the students and it’s big job for me, because the parents there are trust me for take care of their child .

Why I'm excited for teaching practice

I am so excited about teaching practice because it’s first time for me to stay with a lot of children in same room. Also I want to learn from the teacher how to deal with it, and be come good teacher in the future. I love to see the children that they want to learn from me and ask me about anything. However in this practice I’ll learn a lot of thing form the teacher for example, how to planning for the lesson and organizing the time and tho most important to the students understands the lesson.I believe the teaching practice will help me in the future .
